Build a seasonal scene

Start with one focal point such as a wreath, lantern or decorative pumpkin. Layer smaller accents at different heights and keep walkways and doorways clear. Warm lighting can add atmosphere, but always follow each product's individual operating instructions.

For a table, place décor where it will not obstruct conversation or food service. Keep fabric and foliage away from flames. A hanging piece should be secured to a suitable hook and checked before use.
